Ask for something a little more meaningful this Christmas; Sponsor A Child with Creating Better Futures. For just £15 a month/50p a day, you can change the life of an orphan or disadvantaged child in Zimbabwe. Your sponsorship provides a child with an education, school meals every day, school uniform and equipment, and basic medical care. You will be able to write to your child and receive updates on their progress, creating an amazing life-long friendship.
Join Reading Family Church for their Carol Service on Sunday 13th December. Tickets are free of charge and can booked online here. This family-friendly Carol Concert is sure to get you into the Christmas spirit with a diverse mix of classic and contemporary performances. The CBF team will be at the event selling Christmas cards, 2016 Calendars and giving you the opportunity to find out more about Creating Better Futures.
It is a bit early for New Year Resolutions, but signing up to a sporting or challenge event such as the Reading Half Marathon is a great way to work towards an exciting target in the New Year. Running for our charity will motivate you to keep going and it will help support vulnerable children in Zim!
